Mite News - Mites for March

Praise the Lord!  We are within one grant of funding all of our projects.  God is good!

Mite Project No. 14 - FUNDED as of 2/28/2010 - $7,500 - Hindu Outreach & Church Planting, North Central India, People of the Book Lutheran Outreach, Dearborn Heights, MI

Final Grant to fund for 2008-2010:  Due by March 31, 2010

Our Goal for 2008 - 2010

Our goal this biennium is to raise up new, renewed, reactivated, rejuvinated, and reconnected societies all around our California-Nevada-Hawaii District. 

Can you just see a society in every church?  Halleluia, is that not an awsome vision!

Should Lutheran women not all be in mission?  And in the Word, Walking with Jesus as examples to all? 

Keep your sisters in prayer, invite the women in your congregation to join you  in our mission, speak well of the work of the LWML, and lift up the leaders of our organization daily.  Pray, Praise, Participate, and Partner with us in this effort. 

Ask someone to join you at an LWML event, invite her to join you in the Mission of the LWML.  Remember who we are "in League with", this will remind you that the Lord would want all women to be "in League with Him". 

EVENTS

2010 CNH LWML Convention - "Know the Hope - Jesus Christ" - April 30 - May 2, 2010 at the Wyndham Hotel in San Jose, CA.  Region III, Zones 1, 2, 7, 8, 17, 18, will host our convention.   

Remember to invite a friend or two to share Jesus's love  through the LWML.    What a wonderful opportunity to celebrate God's many gifts and to share the Hope!

Mission Grant Report Update: 2/282010

Our Mission Goal for 2008-2010 is $231,680. Our Mission Grant Goal is $115,840 (50% of Mission Goal).  Twenty five percent of our Mission Goal is sent to national LWML to fund LWML Grant Projects accepted at the LWML Convention in 2009 in Portland.
