"KNOW THE HOPE - JESUS CHRIST!"  this is  the theme for our 2010 CNH LWML Convention.  You will hear this over and over in the next many months.  We will share with you that Hope as we also pass that Hope on to everyone we meet.

- Your Executive Committee chose this as our theme at its recent September Planning Meeting - Just as we know the "Hope" of our Savior, we want to pass it on to others who do not yet know.  This is our challenge! 

Going, Serving, Telling -  This is what we have been commanded to do - We Go, Serve, and Tell Everyone We Meet of the Hope - Jesus Christ!

Fall rallies continue all around our district.  See the Rally Page for additional details.  Bring a friend, support your Zone by attending a rally this fall.  If you cannot make it to your own rally, join another zone.  All are welcome.

LWML Mite News

We have now funded our first 6 Mission Grants, Praise the Lord! Keep those "Mites" coming. Let's get that next grant funded before the holidays begin.  I will deliver the grant to Bakersfield in person, if you meet this challenge.  Let us make history this biennium with our total Mission Goal of $231,860!

Women's Conference 2009, Region IV - Zones 4, 6, 19 - Jan Struck Brings us "His Hope"

Mark your calendar today,  the CNH District LWML will hold its 3rd Women's Conference on November 7, 2009, in Sacramento, CA, at Town & Country Lutheran Church (Zone 4).  That wonderful inspirational speaker and humorist, Jan Struck, will return to California to be our presenter.   Registration forms coming in February.

2010 CNH LWML Convention - "Know the Hope - Jesus Christ" - Convention Update

Our next convention will be held in Region III (the San Francisco Bay Area), in April 2010.  Look for monthly convention updates -  We will be look for many volunteers from Region III for this event.  Your convention chairmen, Linda Bradley and Marcia Houseworth, will soon be asking you to join "our team".

Remember to invite a friend or two to share Jesus with you through an LWML rally or other activity.    These are wonderful opportunities to celebrate God's many gifts and to share the Hope!

Mission Grant Report Update:  10/1/2008

Our Mission Goal for 2008-2010 is $231,680. Our Mission Grant Goal is $115,840 (50% of Mission Goal).  Twenty five percent of our Mission Goal will be sent to national LWML to fund the $1.7Million Grant Projects accepted at the LWML Convention in 2007 in Sioux falls.

Remember to send your mites in each month!  Don't wait.  All mites for 2008 - 2010 must be received by the Financial Secretary by March 31, 2010 to be counted toward this biennium.
