NEWS FOR WOMEN OF ALL AGES

We are pleased to announce that we had 10  Young Women Representatives at our 2008 Bakersfield Convention.  A 50% increase from 2006.  We have been challenged by President Sandra to double this number for 2010.  We are believing that with the help of the Lord and our Zone Presidents this can be accomplished and maybe even surpassed.  God is good! 

The hightlight for the YWR's had to be their YWR Breakfast where they heard a personal message from jan Wendrof, our national LWML President and Pastor Dien Taylor, our convention Song Leader and Bible Study Presenter, followed by our wonderful Past President of the CNH LWML, Agnes Frincke.  At 94 Agnes is still going strong and demonstrated that great passion she has for the LWML by sharing it with the young women and others.  She is a wonderful example to all of us serving this league.  What a team, Pastor Taylor and Agnes standing side by side witnessing to the young women, their mentors, their zone president's and other special guest.  Wow!

Please pray for all of these young women who experienced the awesome Amazing Grace theme at our convention.  May this be a time of great joy and growth in their faith and passion for our Lord.  May they be led to lead other young women to participate in the mission of the LWML. Amen
